great location, helpful staff, clean bedsheets and free parking made my stay at Halmstad Hotell & Vandrarhem Kaptenshamn enjoyable and convenient. The proximity to the city center and the quietness of the area were a bonus.

I chose Hotell & Vandrarhem Kaptenshamn because of its convenient location near the Hallands art museum. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the shared kitchen facilities, which allowed me to prepare my own meals during my stay. the restaurant at the hotel served satisfying meals, and I particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfasts available daily from 8 AM.

Although the room at Hotell & Vandrarhem Kaptenshamn was clean and tidy, the beds were not as comfortable as I had hoped. The mattresses could benefit from being a bit thicker.

the rooms were cosy and the staff super nice. loved how close it was to the train station. got some great local insights from the helpful cleaning staff.
